200ml fresh lemon juice
500g granulated sugar
For the Premix (yields 850ml, to serve 10)

Directions
To prepare the Syrup: Put the listed items into a saucepan, bring to a gentle boil, agitating until the sugar dissolves. Then, remove from the heat allowing it to reach room temperature fully. Decant into an sealable bottle, seal and store in the refrigerator, where it will keep for up to a month.
To make Premix: Mix every spirits and syrup into one large bottle, allow it to infuse for 60 minutes, then filter it preferably using a fine cloth, making it fully clarified.
When ready to serve: Pour 85ml of your cocktail base into a cocktail shaker packed with ice, and agitate lightly for one minute to chill. Strain into a frosted cocktail glass or similar, garnish with the cranberries and finish by giving it a brief mist of the essential oil over the drink.
